Over two hundred years of history.
Discover the delights of a superb timber Garden Cottage in a secluded and historic Walled Garden. The cosy atmosphere of each Cottage is enhanced by under floor heating and double glazing throughout. Outside there is a spacious and attractive sundeck/verandah from which owners can enjoy the seclusion and shelter of the Walled Garden.
The origins of the kitchen gardens at Harleyford date back to the mid-eighteenth century when a walled garden was constructed in the years after the Manor House was first built.
The original floral splendour within the Old Walled Garden will be reflected in a new planting and landscaping scheme in the area. Now, over two hundred years later, no expense has been spared to return the old walls themselves to their original condition with all the brickwork being extensively restored and rebuilt to ensure its survival for future generations.
